Simple suspension, shallow pit
Hydraulic lifts from Rs 8,95,000 for a 4 person / 272 kg pitless or 350 mm pit machine. We do not sell this line above G+4.
A direct suspension system with a simple or split piston. It is the simplest way to lift any load up to about six metres of travel, and it needs the least headroom, which is why it suits low rise buildings and retrofits into finished houses.
Oil is part of the machine. A hydraulic lift draws more power going up than a counterweighted traction machine, and almost none coming down. We do not sell this line above G+4, because hydraulic stops being economical past about fifteen metres of travel.
How it is built
No counterweight, no machine room, no gear above your head
A piston pushes the car from below. The pump, tank and valve block sit in a cabinet at the lowest landing rather than in a room above the shaft, which is why the headroom requirement is so much smaller than a traction lift of the same capacity.

Note what happens to the pit as the load climbs. It stays at 350 mm to 544 kg, which is what makes this line workable in a finished house where nobody wants to break the ground floor slab.
