Headline prices are GST excluded. GST is 18 percent, additional. Equipment, installation, transport, statutory licence and designer cabin are inside the number. Civil work is not, except the steel shaft on a structure lift.

A 4 person, 272 kg hydraulic lift at G+1, on a 350 mm pit or a pitless arrangement. It is the machine that fits buildings where a conventional pit and headroom simply do not exist.
- Power pack, cylinder, valve block and controller.
- The car and its doors.
- Installation labour, transport, statutory licence and registration.
- Designer cabin from the standard cabin design range.
- Automatic rescue device, which lowers the car to a landing on a power failure.
The shaft and the power supply are yours. For this capacity the well is 1400 mm by 1300 mm with 3300 mm of overhead, which is roughly a metre less headroom than a traction machine of the same size would need.
What moves the price
And where the line stops
- Capacity. 204 kg to 1088 kg. The pit stays at 350 mm up to 544 kg, then steps to 500 mm and 800 mm, and that step is what makes the larger machines harder to retrofit.
- Door type. Telescopic on the smaller capacities, centre opening from 340 kg up.
- Travel. About Rs 75,000 per extra stop.
- Piston arrangement. A direct piston needs a borehole. A split or side piston does not, and costs more.
We do not sell this line above G+4. Past about fifteen metres of travel a hydraulic lift stops being economical to run, and we would rather lose the order than sell you something that costs you money every day for twenty years.

Hydraulic, home lift or traction
A 6 person gearless MRL starts at Rs 7,43,000, carries more people and costs less to run. If your building has the pit and the headroom for it, buy that instead. We will tell you so at survey.
The reason to buy hydraulic is that your building does not have them. Low rise, a finished house, a shallow pit, a roof you cannot build above: that is where this machine earns its price.
Running cost is the honest trade-off. A hydraulic lift draws more power going up than a counterweighted machine, and almost none coming down. On fifteen trips a day that is negligible. On three hundred it is not, and at that duty we will point you at traction.
