Each extra stop is not another lift. It is one landing door assembly, roughly three metres more of both guide rails, a landing panel, longer travelling cable, and two to three more crew days. That is why the per-stop figure sits between Rs 0.70 L on a goods lift and Rs 2.60 L on a car elevator, and why it is published rather than negotiated.

Figures in Rs lakhs, GST excluded. Home lifts are a from-price of Rs 8,20,000 and are not laddered here, because the drive type moves the number more than the extra landing does.
G+4 and above we quote individually, for two honest reasons. Speed class often steps up above four floors, and hydraulic stops being economical past fifteen metres.
Why the per-stop figure is not flat
What an extra stop actually adds
A stop is not just more travel. Each one adds a landing door and frame, an interlock, a landing panel and position indicator, more rope or hose, more guide rail and more trunking, plus the labour to align and test all of it.
That is why the per-stop figure scales with the machine rather than staying flat. On a goods lift it is about Rs 70,000. On a car elevator, where a landing entrance is nearly three metres wide, it is Rs 2,60,000.
Where the ladder stops

Beyond four floors the machine itself starts to change. Rope specification, counterweight, controller and sometimes the drive all move together, and a published per-stop figure would stop being honest.
The same is true of the home lift, which is why it has a from-price rather than a ladder. A home lift almost always goes into a house that is already built, and the building decides the drive type before the floor count gets a say.
