No surprises. Just lifts.

An elevator company in Delhi NCR that puts the price and the date in writing

Passenger lifts start at Rs 7,43,000 and home lifts at Rs 8,20,000. The statutory licence and the designer cabin are already inside those figures, and those are the two lines most quotations in this industry add later. Installation takes thirty days from the day your site is ready, and that date goes into the contract. If your site was ready and we run late, we pay you interest.

Why we exist

You have probably been quoted already. That is usually where it goes wrong.

The quotation says one number and the final bill says another, because the licence and the cabin were never inside the first number. The date agreed at signing passes, and nobody pays for that except you. Calls stop being returned once the money is in. Local parts get sold as imported, and by the time anyone could check, the truth is sealed inside brick and steel.

We came to this from the buying side. Laurel is built out of a house of construction companies running industrial and commercial projects across North India. We signed those quotations. We waited for those lifts. We did not start another lift company because the market needed one more. We started it because we could not find one to hire.

The Laurel promise

Three things we sign before you pay anything

01

A fixed price

Kit, labour, transport, licence and your designer cabin. Five lines, each with its own number, and the tax on a line of its own beneath them. The figure on the quotation is the figure on the final bill.

02

A fixed date

Thirty days from a site-ready start. If your site was ready and we miss the date, the contract says we pay you interest. Our delay, our cost.

03

Service that does not stop at handover

WhatsApp support from the first site visit onward. The first year of maintenance sits inside the price. The AMC after that is quoted in writing before you sign, not after.

The quotation

This is what our quotation looks like

Most quotations in this industry are a single line with a single number. Ours has five lines, a subtotal, the tax, and then the total you actually pay. The licence and the designer cabin are the two items almost everyone bills you for later. On ours they are already inside the headline figure.

The five figures that add up to Rs 7,43,000 are confirmed on your own quotation after the survey. The structure of it never changes.

The gap

Above the fear, below the sticker shock

This market offers two safe choices, and neither fits most homes. The global names build genuinely good lifts and price them for towers. The local vendors are affordable, but everything after the price is a gamble. Between the two sits a buyer who has the budget and wants the lift, and who is stuck because there is no way to tell which vendor is telling the truth.

That buyer is who Laurel is built for. We are not trying to outspend the global names, and we are not racing the local vendors to the bottom. We are trying to be the one you can actually verify.

The giants

Trusted, priced out of reach

Real quality and real service, built and priced for towers and marquee projects.

The middle

Where Laurel lives

The budget for premium is not there, but the fear of local vendors is stopping the purchase.

The locals

Affordable, but a gamble

Cheap to start, expensive to regret. Quality, honesty and service are a coin toss.

How it works

Survey to handover, with nothing hidden

Six stages, and at each one you know what happens and what you should be holding by the end of it.

01

Site survey and drawings

We measure your shaft and hand you the drawings and the power requirement. Free, and you keep them whether or not you order.

02

The itemised quotation

Five lines, each with its own number, and tax on a line of its own. Nothing is folded into a single figure.

03

Production and updates

A WhatsApp message at every stage: order confirmed, in production, dispatched, installation booked.

04

Installation in 30 days

Counted from the day your site is ready. If it was ready and we run late, we pay you interest.

05

Testing and handover

Load test, certificate, licence papers, and training for whoever will use the lift every day.

06

Service

The first year of maintenance is inside the purchase price. After that the AMC is quoted in writing.

Coverage

Where we work

As an elevator company in Delhi NCR we cover Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, working from our head office in Ghaziabad and our warehouse in Hari Nagar, New Delhi. A branch office in Dehradun covers Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Uttarakhand. We take enquiries from anywhere in India, and if the job is buildable we will quote it. Spares sit in our own warehouse, so a replacement part is a drive away rather than a three week import.

Questions

Questions we get asked before the first site visit

How much does a home lift cost in Delhi NCR?

A Laurel home lift starts at Rs 8,20,000 for the entry configuration at ground plus one. That covers the equipment, installation, transport, the statutory licence and the designer cabin, each shown as its own line on the quotation, with 18 percent GST added on a line of its own beneath them. The exact figure is confirmed after a free site survey, because on a home lift the building decides the drive type.

How long does lift installation take?

Thirty days from a site-ready start, written into the contract. Site-ready means the shaft is built to the drawings we hand you and the power is at the machine position. If your site was ready on the agreed date and we run past thirty days, we pay you interest.

Do I need a licence to install a lift in Delhi NCR?

Yes. The Lifts and Escalators Act 2024 requires the owner to register the lift before installation, with private and public premises registered separately, and requires the installing agency and the AMC agency to be registered as well. In Delhi and Haryana a licence from the Electrical Inspector is needed before the lift can be used. Laurel handles registration, inspection and the paperwork, and the cost appears as a visible line on your quotation.

Which Indian standard should a lift be built to?

IS 17900. It came into force in 2022 and replaced the older lift standards this market still quotes against. Every Laurel product is built to IS 17900.

Does a home lift run on single phase power?

On the standard configuration, yes. A Laurel home lift is offered in three drive types: hydraulic, pitless traction and wall mounted hydraulic. The standard configuration runs on a single phase 220 volt domestic supply. The survey confirms the supply for your house.

What happens in a power cut?

The automatic rescue device moves the cabin to the nearest landing and opens the doors. Light, fan and intercom stay live. A manual release and an emergency key opening at every landing sit behind that.

Send us a floor plan. We will tell you if it is possible, free.

A photo of the stairwell works too. You will get an answer on whether a lift fits, what size, and what it costs, before anyone asks you for anything.
